[He lets out another harsh sigh. Why is this so difficult? Why are THEY so difficult? He doesn't get it most of the time.

Logically, it makes sense. This is what you wanted from me from the start.

[Now they have just enough detachment from one another to make that happen successfully. Jakurai will use his lack of judgement to decide that he wants to keep Ramuda as a fling. Really, that's the only way he can keep him.]
