He's lucky she didn't bake.

When she's close enough, she beams, her tail swaying slowly. ]

[ When he does open his eyes, well, he laughs more than anything. He finds this both cute and almost unsurprising.

He reaches a hand out to her.]

Are you my little dragon now?

[ That laugh is worth so much to her— she smiles as she comes in closer, and uses a bedside cart to place the cake on!

And of course, she's going to quickly move and sit between his legs, arms around his neck. ]

I'm a big, scary dragon! My plan is to eat you after I feed you this delicious cake!

[ She chuckles, feeling a little foolish, but also moving to kiss his cheek, then the corner of his mouth. ]

Now make a wish, and you get to unwrap your present!

[ She has an actual present for him, but she can totally be one, too! ]

[Honestly she shouldn't feel foolish, though it is silly, the gesture is nice and the person it is coming from is nicer. He sits up just enough to get his arms around her and pull her down for kisses.]

Your plan is to eat me, is it? How could I resist such an alluring dragon?

You can't. Now you'll just have to succumb to being my prey- oi!

[ She laughs, before pulling his face down to kiss again, and wiggling her ears at him as she grabs his hand before he removes the cute kigu. ]

Perhaps, but you've got to cut the cake first. Look, it's in your colours.

[ She points to it, bringing the cart closer so that he can blow out the candles on the cake, and admire it. It's pretty... and in RamuJaku colours. Maybe the sugar pearls are her, or who knows. ]

Make a wish, and I'll let you unwrap your present!

Darling, you know if I acknowledge how old I am, I'll be even older than I was before.

[Nearing forty? Not the funnest. It gives Ramuda more reason to tease him, Megumi more reason to tease him.]

As for a wish, well...I believe it was already given to me once. How could I ask a birthday to give me the same wish twice and hope it to work? Perhaps I shouldn't jinx a good thing?

[ She draws the cart closer gently, and takes his hand to hold the cake knife with. ]

[ Together... or apart. There's a bit of a somberness there, but also hope- that they won't be parted too soon. She smiles up gently at him. ]
